"Now nerds are trendy, they call it Geek Chic"

To me, nerd is almost derogatory.

I found a color chart for Hama over at the Bead Sprite Forum. I'll probably do an update with the Hama palette and a print option real soon.

Hi
Let me give you an outline of what I do. I am a manager of an Adventure Playground in England that caters for children from age 6-16yrs old. As we are in England the beads we use are Hama beads. We're going to be doing a project of decorating 2 full walls of kids beads and doing their own designs using your program would be great, but I do have a few problems

1/ As we are using Hama Beads the colour does not match up. I have been trying to find a comparison chart of the 2 but without success.

2/ How on earth do I save the picture once uploaded onto your site? I need to be able to print of to let the children follow the instruction per board

Thankyou in advance for your help

We recently got the Wii Fit. It does a great workout and we seem to be actually using it more frequently than I thought we would.

If you have a Wii I am sure it would be fun family exercising. We have hoola hoop contest. Every time we get on we can see who has the highest score and we try to beat their score. It helps to keep me motivated to do more (Sometimes to much).

PerlerPal is JUST what I've been screaming out for!
errm... except that I can't get Perler Beads in the UK (YET!!!)...
Have you considered adding the Hama Colors to your program? (or the option of using either?)

Anyways, your program is excellent!
Cheers

You don't do DRM? But, doesn't Tivo add drm to the tv shows you record? I could be wrong...I've never had a Tivo. If so, you should feel dirty whenever you Tivo!

Ok, I think I'm gonna throw MythTV on a new HDD in that box to see if I can get it to work.

Heya Forrest --

I don't do DRM :) I use MythTV mainly as a media player -- I don't have a tuner card attached. For recording shows, I use Tivo (cold dead hands baby :) and we haven't made the jump to HD yet. It will be a whole different ballgame when we do (which is what I fear) I'll be sure to blog about it when I do though... Don't be a stranger!

Hey Ed!
Long time no see. Hope you're enjoying CO.
I have a Windows Media Center PC attached to my LCD tv. We use it to record OTA digital and analog TV (I know, I know. Analog is almost dead, and we should have cable or sat. But, we just don't watch enough TV and we can Torrent/iTunes/Watch in full screen browser anything, really). Also for watching DVD's, Home movies, Torrents, etc. It's a decent Dell box with a Core Duo 2.6 and 1 gig of RAM.
I'm considering converting it to a MythTV. I really like the MCE interface, and it usually works fine, but the two issues I have are:
1. DRM slapped on all recorded content which prevents me from using the content anywhere else/editing the content, etc. (not that big of an issue, but my content yearns for freedom!)
2. File size of digital HDTV is about 8 gigs an hour. Not sure if MythTV can compress that a bit?

Do you have any suggestions after running MythTV for a few months? Caveats, gotchas, do's, don't's?
