Light Reading

by Ed

So, I bought a book today – Design for Web Developers. So far it’s pretty good – I read the first quarter of it, and decided to stop for a bit and mix things up a bit. I went to the basement and started playing on my piano, and didn’t stop for like 2 hours. Man, my forearms are sore! I’m currently working on Turkish Rondo by Mozart, but I have a lot of other pieces that I’ve played in the past that I’ve just lost. Things like The Entertainer, Solfeggietto, Für Elise, etc.  I actually decided to take a peek at Fantasie-Impromptu to see what the fuss is all about. I know it’s way out of my league, but I messed around with it for about 20 minutes or so before giving up and doing some Hanon because I’m so out of practice.  That’s like my ‘dream’ piece.  Maybe one of these days…
