Been a couple of days since the election, but everything is of course still buzzing…  I’m happy to say that we have elected Obama as our 44th president!  I’m now waiting till he gets into office.  I have a feeling that I’ll actually be more interested in how the government is run.  Up until the primaries, I didn’t really care that much about politics.  I now am very interested in seeing how Obama runs things.  I know he’ll be under a lot of scrutiny — I just hope he lives up to his promises, and fixes our country.  We *needed* someone new, someone fresh.  With the way things are right now (economy, healthcare, oil dependence, Iraq, and the fact that the rest of the world hates us), we needed someone to clean it up.   There are a lot of naysayers out there, that say that he’s going to mess things up… my question is, how can he *possibly* screw things up more than they are today?
